I’ve mentioned at least a few times on this website that I’d love to be able to hear all of Robert Pollard’s demos, and “Sleep Over Jack” is one in particular that I always thought would be interesting to hear. As I learned how to play this song on guitar, I came to realize that, in comparison to the version on Half Smiles Of The Decomposed, the demo is probably very sparse; likely just Pollard playing acoustic guitar and singing.
