As we saw in the tablature post for “Barricade,” Robert Pollard was already using his “floating chord shapes” guitar technique as far back as the Sandbox album, and he used it again for “Radio Show (Trust The Wizard)” from Self-Inflicted Aerial Nostalgia. In both songs, it was the open position G5 chord shape that he moved up and down the guitar neck.
