I’m including a non-Pollard project as a tab post today, but with good reason. Today is Doug Gillard’s birthday, so I chose a song he wrote and recorded with his high-school band Children’s Crusade: “Lurker On The Threshold” (the album is available now through Rockathon Records!). Be forewarned: even though he was only 18 at the time, Doug could shred. There are some fast runs in the lead guitar work for this song.
